She's not dead yet, colo collab with PrincessFloe

Whaaaaaa!!! first collab of 2014!!! finally with pictures I am proud of ahaha no for real. I looked over my first collabs and I was really ashamed of my lines. I have came across the talented and sweet FLORENCE FARGIER a couple of weeks ago and here's the first result of a couple of collabs.  I strongly encourage you to visit her gallery and if you can/want to: work with her. she's adorable and a real pro. I highly recommand you to stop by. What interested me in working with her? The style. Our styles are very different but I knew the result would be unique and really cool. It's not cartoon-ish or comic-ish but it sincerely works with Asma

The pencils were inspired by a scene I wrote on 2013 for her Marvel background and I will give you that note below. you can skip it if you don't want to read. It's simply action.

A/N:  Just a little action scene. It's following one of the many storylines where Asma had lost her mutant powers because of a ray. Hank and Hulk worked on a solution and  a couple of hours before the mission began, Asma received an injection. x-men belong to Marvel. Asma Jensen belongs to me.



[Goliath! Can you copy me?]-Storm voice reached Asma's ear. Asma, who was wearing her blue and white costume, was running towards Jubilee and a group of children.

[I can. I'm running towards Jubilee and the hostages. I can also see you on my left, are you alright?]-She asked, lifting her head up.

[I am don't worry. I'm with Wolverine and Archangel. Rogue and Gambit are on the right wing of the complex. Jubilee and Shadowcat will need your help. Make sure the  kids are safe.]

[Count on me. Goliath out!]

She said, as she stopped running. Sentinels, there were sentinels everywhere and  two of them were between Jubilee and a group of mutant children. Asma took a deep breath and looked up to the gigantesque machines. It didn't take long before the government resumed mutant-hunting. All of this happened because of an accident between a mutant and some cops. Of course, cops started to attack the first and the scared young mutant used his powers to protect himself and severly injured one of the humans. What should have been an issue between the policemen and the mutant and his family turned into a national drama and here they were, fighting against sentinels and trying to survive. It wouldn't have been an issue for Asma if she hadn't lost her mutant powers. Bruce tried to reassure her and the x-men pushed her into suiting up again. After all, she was still an Elder and didn't lose the abilities tied to her very nature such a super strength or flight.  The beginning was dreadful because Asma hated it, she hated not having her powers because to her she wasn't herself anymore. It took her friends and her family (the x-men) to have her embrace a new life. Step by step Asma finally accepted her new condition. She might not regain her powers and she would have to live without them.

Logan, Rogue and Storm went on a secret mission to find the scientists who built the device that stripped Asma off of her powers. They found it and took it to Hank's lab so he could work on Asma's blood and maybe cure her from the effects of the lazer. That morning, he gave her an injection and told her to wait and see if it worked or not.Asma knew that  at the end of the day she would come back to her old self or would definitely embrace her new life. Jubilee was throwing fireworks at sentinels, bliding them and allowing Shadowcat to phase through  and destroy them  but the children weren't protected enough.

"Goliath!!!! Great! Storm sent us some rescue!" -Jubilee said, throwing another firework at the sentinel but it didn't work and the machine tried to stomp on the children but Asma ran and  held the feet of the machine with her hands. The pressure was too important and she started to sink into the ground, feeling it break under her feet.

" Step BACK!!!" -The pink haired lady groaned, sinking som more the floor. She groaned louder and  pushed the foot forward so the sentinel could fall on its back. Yet, there was another one that slapped Asma. She blocked it with her arms but the machine had so much strength that  Asma fell on the ground and rolled a couple of miles away. "Arrrgh!!!"

Jubilee was worried and decided to come closer to the Elder. Shadowcat phased through the sentinel, damaging its leg before she grabbed  two of the six children.

"I'm taking them to safety. Jubes, ask Goliath to help you. Our priority is to save the kids lives!"

"Got it!!! Good luck!" -Screamed Jubilee Ah, where was Archangel when you needed him? His sharp razor blade feathers would have helped them distract and destroy the sentinels but he wasn't there. Jubilee grabbed two children and asked them to grab the two others and they started to run towards the exit. "Goliath! I'm taking the children to safety, please take this sentinel down for me!" -She yelled before she started to run away from the battlefield.


Goliath stood up and ran towards the sentinel that threw her on the ground. She punched its leg and destroy it and  waited until it fell on the floor to jump on it and run until she reached its chest. There, she ripped it open and destroy its "core".  The other sentinel went after Jubilee and the children so the pink haired mutant decided to go after them. While she was running, she contacted Wolverine.

[Lo', Got one sentinel down! Shadowcat took two kids and Jubes have  four of them. I have their back!]

{Got it. come back after, they keep on comin'. Wolvie's out.]

Asma nodded and ran a bit faster. Without her psychic powers it was less easy to get rid of them but probably  funnier. She jumped on the sentinel's left leg and her strength had it lose its balance and fall forward. Asma screamed loud enough for Jubilee to move to the left with the children and avoid the sentinel. Asma then  ripped open the leg and started to tore the eletric threads to damage the leg further more. The sentinel turned its head to face Asma and sent a lazer beam to her. Asma crossed her arms over her face to protect her but was hit on full force nonetheless.The lazer beam damaged her costume, exposing more of her flesh and at some point, it went through the first  layer of skin.  Asma decided to move towards the head of the sentinel, it was still lazer beaming at her and had reached the second layer of skin. She knew that if she didn't stop it, he would injure her seriously so Asma punched the sentinel's eye, damaging it enough to only have one eye shooting its lazer at her. Archangel who was fighting nearby, noticed Asma was in difficulty and flew towards her, aiming at the other eye and destroying it before he left and resumed his fight with his own sentinel.

"Thanks Archie!"

Yelled Asma as she ripped the machine's head in half and  messed up the electric threads inside of it. Her healing factor was already kicking in so she could follow Jubilee and make sure the children were safe. Her teammate was already outside but two sentinels were blocking her way out. Asma hadn't fully recover yet, so she knew that if the sentinel sent another lazer beam, she would be injured for sure but there were children who needed her help. Near them Rogue and Gambit were fighting three sentinels already. Gambit was throwing his cards and Rogue was flying, punching through the machines, ripping their core, damaging their arms and legs but they were busy and they could not help. Behind her and far away Archangel, Storm and Wolverine were fighting sentinels. She could only count on herself. Jubilee was busy protecting children and Shadowcat had taken two of them to safety. Taking a deep breath, the pink haired lady lifted a car that was randomly there and threw it to the first sentinel's core. It exploded but the explosion wasn't strong enough to destroy it. Nonetheless it gave Asma some time to run towards it and punch its leg, making it kneel in front of her. She glanced at Jubilee and the children and growled


" Careful Jubes! It's about to stomp on you. I'll stay here."

"Asma you can't do that! You have to come with us!!"-Screamed a panicked Jubilee who noticed the gigantic foot of the machine ready to stomp on them.

Asma was now more than worried. She knew that something had to be done. Her eyes averted from the sentinel she was fighting to the sentinel that was threatening her friend and those innocent children. Wasn't it enough for the poor kids? They'd been abducted by a mental case -Stryker-, probably experimented on and now they had to face death. Her eyes started to glow, the air became thick around her and her hair started to freely float in the air. She could feel it, power.. It was rushing in her veins, shaking her from inside. She didn't even pay attention to what was happening around her anymore. A blue aura surrounded her and  without thinking anymore she had built a blue psychic print which protected Jubilee and the children.


"Asma?...As...Asma!!!!" -Jubilee finally released the children hands and covered her mouth with her warm palm. " Your powers... your powers...they are back!"
